About the job Sales/Business Development Representative
My client seeks an experienced, results-driven Sales & Business Development Specialist to drive revenue growth and expand market presence. In addition to traditional business development responsibilities, this role involves selling specialized products, including:
- Tax and Accounting Services tailored specifically to High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNIs), and Realtors.
- Innovative Accounting Software Solutions as a competitive alternative to QuickBooks and similar industry-leading software.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, significantly contributing to revenue growth.
- Conduct client acquisition through proactive prospecting, lead generation, networking, and market expansion strategies.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to promote specialized accounting services and proprietary software solutions.
Client Relationship Management
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with high-value clients, including HNIs, UHNIs, Realtors, and business stakeholders.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach and presentations to negotiations and closing of deals.
- Collect, analyze, and act on client feedback to refine and enhance service offerings and software capabilities.
Communication & Presentation
- Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Clearly articulate complex tax and accounting concepts and software solutions in persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
- Regularly deliver compelling presentations tailored to the unique needs of sophisticated clientele.
Marketing & Digital Strategy
- Leverage CRM platforms, lead generation tools, and digital marketing strategies to identify prospects and drive conversions.
- Collaborate closely with internal marketing teams to enhance brand positioning and the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Utilize online channels, webinars, and networking events strategically to build awareness and generate new business opportunities.
Strategic & Entrepreneurial Mindset
- Employ analytical skills to identify and capitalize on market trends, client needs, and competitive opportunities.
- Exhibit self-driven motivation, a proactive approach, and a results-oriented attitude.
- Work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of Canadian experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition, ideally within high-ticket industries, financial services, or software solutions.
- Prior experience selling to high-net-worth clientele, Realtors, or related professional services markets is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with accounting software solutions or financial service products would be a distinct advantage.
