A well established company is currently recruiting for an HSE Supervisor in Accra, Ghana

Suitable candidate will be responsible to ensure HSE compliance in the yards operation in line with OSHA, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in HSE or any other relevant discipline.
• 10 years of experience in relevant (construction/shipyard/general engineering) field with minimum 5 years of managerial experience.
• First Aid basic certificate.
• Certified HSE professional
• Familiar with ISO 45001/ ISO 14001/ construction/ shipyard.
• NEBOSH Fire prevention and Risk management certification.
• Past experience in carrying out the duties of FSM (Fire Safety Manager).
• Knowledge of shipyards trade and knowledge of regulatory requirements details.
• Conversant with use of computers in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Outstanding communication (written and verbal both), leadership, and people management skills, with the ability to influence and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
• High level of managerial skills, problem-solving and fast decision-making ability.
• Pro-active attitude and ability to accept criticism.
• Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.
• Proficient clients and time management skills.
• Self-motivated and self-starter.
• High ethical standards, excellent interpersonal and empathetic skills.
• In-depth knowledge of shipyard management.
• Ability to delegate.
