Camp Boss (Offshore)

 Job Description:

A well established company is currently recruiting for a Camp Boss (Offshore) in Ghana

Overseeing the daily operations and management of a camp, with the primary role of ensuring the well-being and comfort of the camp residents, including workers and staff

Minimum Requirements:

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management/ Catering Management or over 5 years experience in camp/ hotel management.
  • Trained in Food Hygiene, first aid at work, Health abs safety in the workplace.
  • Valid Offshore certificates.
  • Offshore experience is a mandatory requirement for the role.
  • Communication skills generate reports and training materials, and good verbal communication skills to delegate tasks to other crew members.
  • Five (5) years experience in the field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Effective planning and Implementation
  • Leadership skills manage other crew staff members and assign them specific investigative tasks.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision, whiles developing and maintaining professional relationship with internal and external stakeholders and work effectively with all categories of staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage on-site staff making recommendations and communicating with site management on ways to improve the service provision.
  • General administration of services at site
  • Facilitates toolbox talks and team meetings
  • Act as liaison between Contractors administrative team and offshore management personnel.
  • Management of the menu per the Agreement standards
  • Supervision of Contractor personnel at site and ensure adherence to work schedules,
  • working standards, job description and compliance with all Company procedures.
  • Monitoring and reordering of service inventory required for the efficient delivery of the services.
  • Maintain a stock of fresh, frozen, dry foods, groceries and cleaning consumables enough for at least two weeks consumption or as specified by the OIM.
  • Coordinate cabin allocation with the Medic and OIM to ensure deep-cleaning schedules are maintained
  • Supervise the labelling, handled, stored, use of hazardous products in per
  • the information on the product data sheet.
  • Maintain proper records on Personnel on Board (POB), Sheets and Extra Meals,
  • Stock Sheets and Reports, Bond Inventory and Accounts.
  • Interfaces with Company on all issues regarding the services
  • Set up waste management systems within the workplace promoting good hygiene.
  • Supervision of food quality and kitchen management
