A well established company is currently recruiting for a Machinist in Takoradi, Ghana

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 5-10 years apprenticeship in machine shop.
• Excellent practical hands-on knowledge of engineering techniques including lathe turning, boring, drilling, milling
• Thorough understanding of engineering drawings
• Specific training and courses on Lathe Turning and engineering techniques a distinct advantage

Responsibilities:

• Assigned daily activities of engineering department
• Reading and interpretation of drawings and sketches.
• Work to agreed specifications and requirements
• Operation of lathes, mill, drills, grinders, saw, honing, polishing, borers and cutting equipment and machinery.
• Checking tolerances, measurements using verniers, micrometers, gauges, and electronic equipment.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
