Conveyancing Secretary - Transfers

 Job Description:

A well established law firm based in Tygervalley, Cape Town is currently recruiting for a Transfers Conveyancing Secretary

You must be able to handle a busy workload (multiple files simultaneously) whilst maintaining a high-quality support service. The main area of law you will support is residential and commercial conveyancing. You will be a key point of contact for queries and be responsible for providing general support to the conveyancing team, liaising, and updating clients, agents and third parties when required

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience (Junior) and 5+ years experience (Senior) in a similar conveyancing related role
  • Capable of handling large volumes of files (30 Junior) and (60+ Senior)
  • South African citizen
  • Matric (non negotiable)
  • Must have GhostConvey , LEXIS Convey , Stordoc & E4 Training experience (non negotiable)
  • A relevant legal qualification would be an advantage
  • An excellent command of Afrikaans and English, both written and verbal, is a requirement of the role
