As the Head of Employee Experience, you will be tasked with ensuring that our company recruits, manages, develops and retains people that are aligned to our core values. You are ultimately responsible for the way our people feel about the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all employee information is captured correctly and regularly updated
  • Responsible for continuous and active recruitment of Numata-aligned people and to ensure that we have a continuous, up to date virtual bench of available resources to reduce hiring time.
  • Manage employee rewards and recognition program and platforms
  • Coordinate regular social events to ensure team building and culture development occurs on a regular basis
  • Help maintain and develop the company culture and focus on enforcing and demonstrating our core values in all interactions
  • Ensure all statutory and legal / compliance requirements are fulfilled on a global level
  • Ensure that we maintain a safe workspace and working environment to all employees, in compliance with local laws and regulations
  • Ensure that disciplinary actions are peformed in-line with the company disciplinary code and that all employees are treated fairly and without prejudice
  • Manage day to day HR requirements
  • Ensure regular communication with all staff to ensure we reinforce our values, our vision and our mission throughout the entire organisation
  • Schedule and maintain regular catch-up sessions with staff
  • Conduct bi-yearly employee satisfaction surveys and take immediate action on any results that can be improved on
  • Manage and maintain the HR budget
  • Manage and maintain any and all HR-related software systems
  • Design, manage and maintain the employee onboarding process to ensure employees receive a warm welcome to the business on their first day this process should be standardised globally
  • Design, manage and maintain the company performance management system
  • Update and maintain job descriptions
  • Design, implement and maintain the company training catalogue, in conjunction with the Head of Operations to ensure that we drive continuous training and development for all our team members
  • Develop and maintain employment contracts, taking the local law and regulations into consideration
  • Resolve internal disputes and grievances
  • Assist managers on all levels with disciplinary and or performance issues of employees
  • Maintain and protect the core values of the company at any cost
  • Ensure that there is full alignment between the HR department and operations on a global level by setting up regular meetings and check-in sessions with the necessary department heads
  • Calculate yearly bonuses and salary increases
  • Document, manage, design and maintain the company HR policies and ensure that staff are aware of the company policies
  • Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organisational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs to ensure the business can maintain sustainable growth
  • Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organisation-wide goal setting and performance management
  • Provide monthly HR report to the CEO within 5 working days from month-end. The report must highlight formal progress of HR initiatives, risks and issues experienced
  • Continuously research and develop the company's Human Capital Strategy and ensure that new initiatives are introduced to ensure we remain relevant and attract the best talent. Your job is to make our company the employer of choice in our field, globally.

    Candidate Requirements:

    Bachelors degree in HR and at least 15 years experience.
