Carpenter

Qualifications

1. Trade Certificate in Carpentry, Woodwork, or a related field.
2. Completed apprenticeship or formal training in woodworking or joinery.

3. Experience in carpentry, preferably in:

• Vehicle interiors (buses, coaches, caravans, trains)
• Shopfitting or custom wood fabrication

4. Skilled in:

• Measuring, cutting, shaping, and fitting wooden components
• Installing interior wood panels, floors, seat bases, cabinets, and partitions
• Using hand tools and power tools safely and accurately
• Working with plywood, hardwood, MDF, laminates, and composites

5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or CAD sketches

6. Familiarity with adhesives, sealants, and fixings used in vehicle interiors
