DC Ops Mgr

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced DC Ops Manager to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center operations and management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services to clients. As the DC Ops Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our data center facilities, ensuring that all systems and processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of our data center facilities, including monitoring and maintenance of critical systems such as power, cooling, and security. - Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the data center. - Monitor and maintain data center performance, including uptime, capacity planning, and disaster recovery. - Manage and coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and effective delivery of services. - Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients to understand their needs and provide timely and effective solutions. - Lead and manage a team of data center technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success. - Develop and manage the data center budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and identifying areas for improvement. - Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends to continuously improve data center operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center operations and management. - Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and security systems. - Experience with managing and coordinating with vendors and service providers. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders. - Proven track record of managing and leading a team to success. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in data center operations. - Experience with budget management and cost optimization. - Excellent organizational and time management skills.
