Job Description
As a Change Coordinator and documentation/ process analyst,
your will be responsible for creating, reviewing all External networks changes.
Provide change quality report, before weekly CAB review, provide quality KPI, regular reports on External networks changes.
Ensuring change quality match global standards and make sure 0 change related incident or business impact/escalation.
Improve change process through templates, standard change assessment, reviews , automation
Responsible for managing External Networks documentation repository.
you will ensure documentation (diagrams/processes) are created, stored, regularly reviewed and accessible.
You will oversee different processes of External networks team towers and work to merge processes / tools used by DDI/LB /Perimeter and threat prevention team members
- Be accountable for all External Networks changes (creation / quality review / post incident reviews and reporting
- Provide regular Change quality dashboard/reports.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders: project managers, application owners, and operations.
- Ensure smooth Service transition to operations.
- Ensuring documentation is updated to reflect new additions to or modifications in the environment and handed into Operations successfully.
- Provide coaching and training to members of the organization who utilize the Change Management Ensure security controls are implemented and operating effectively as part of solutions delivery.
- Reduce time to create change to 1h max through change templates / mod ops automation.
- Identifying and managing the mitigation of risks within the environment.
- Liaise with Information Security partners to enforce compliance with standards.
- Support activities related to Audit, Compliance Reviews & Regulatory Exams.
- Manage external networks documentation repository.
- Learn about external networks technologies to eventually move to Engineer position.
- Create team resource calendar to regularly report on Comp off and team members days off
Required Skills:
- A minimum of 1-2 years working experience in Change Management / Documentation analyst
- Good understanding of change management principles, techniques, and tools.
- Experience in ITSM tools / reporting
- Experience in documentation repository tools
- A taste in process continuous improvement
- Basic Knowledge on network security datacenter and DMZ infrastructures
- Understanding of Network Automation tools and processes
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and people management skills.
- Must be able to work and communicate effectively with all levels in the organization.
- Must demonstrate positive attitude with ability to manage stakeholder expectations and adaptable to changing environment.
Desired Skills
- Experience with BMC Remedy/ and or Service Now ticketing system.
- Confluence/SharePoint/Wiki or other documentation repository tools
- Basic Knowledge of LB/Firewall/IPS/Threat Prevention
- Attention to detail, confident enough to raise questions and escalate when necessary.
- Understanding of the principles of network routing/switching
- Basic knowledge Unix/Linux and Windows environments
- Experience with automation tools such as Python, PowerShell, Ansible,
- API calls (to ticketing systems and network devices), and frontend web development.
- Experience of working within Financial Services (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking)
- ITIL Foundation would be a plus
