About the job Network Architect
Job Responsibilities
- Leads as the subject matter expert, to design, plan and deploy the right functional technical solution accordance with the specification and service levels of business and/or system requirements include multi-region routing across regional DCs Cisco SDWAN controller and Internet Gateway disaster recovery.
- Designing, implementing, and migration of solutions involving, but not limited to, SDWAN, WAN, LAN, WLAN, SASE, Security and Virtual (e.g., SDN, NFV) technologies.
- QoS Architect to ensure application level of quality of service with strong knowledge of ITIL framework.
- Support major incidents or changes when there is escalation from operation team, working with the related stakeholders and takes corrective/preventive actions.
- Work with respective countries team members on the review of network architecture and design, troubleshooting, as well as to work on network and security infrastructure domain.
- Provide network architecture reviews, assessments and recommend remediation/enhancement to improve operational efficiency and compliant to existing IT policies and governance.
- Prepare and present technical documentations. Ensure that the technical settings comply with company policy and regulatory requirements and work with stakeholders to align infrastructure direction.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related qualifications
- Min. 10 years of working experience in network design, implementation and managing large network security platform.
- Min. 3 years of working experience as Technical Lead related to SASE, Cisco SDWAN solution design and implementation in large scale projects.
- Industrial professional certification such as CCIE, CCNP is preferred.
- In-depth technical experience and proficiency in deploying network system(s) implementation for large enterprise, data center routing switching environments and network micro-segmentation.
- Hands-on experience in implementation and setup of high-availability, multi-layer datacenter networks.
- Must have working knowledge and implementation experience of Cisco SDWAN and SASE solution.
- Must have working knowledge and implementation experience of Cisco Router and Switches (ASR, ISR, Nexus, Catalyst)
- In-depth hands-on experience of advance IP routing and switching technologies, particularly BGP, EIGRP, SDWAN, OSPF, PBR, QOS, ECMP, VRRP, VPC and VXLAN
- Proficient with Cisco Systems, F5, Checkpoint, Fortinet or equivalent
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting to engineering and C-level executives.
- Prior working experience as an IT professional in banking or financial institution is an advantage
