Key Responsibilities:
- Image Creation and Management: Develop, deploy, and maintain standardized Windows 10/11 images for endpoint devices across the organization, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
- Security Compliance: Ensure that all Windows endpoint devices comply with company security policies and standards, conducting regular audits and updates, as necessary.
- Technical Support: Provide expert technical assistance for Windows endpoint devices, including desktops, laptops, and other devices. Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues to maintain system reliability.
- Project Coordination: Coordinator of the Windows 11 migration project, tracking progress of timelines, gathering of information, issues tracking, and risk mitigation to ensure a smooth transition.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, partners, and other business departments to ensure project and operational objectives are met.
- Issue Resolution: Provide ongoing technical support during and after the migration, addressing and resolving any issues related to the transition, including deployment failures, application problems, and performance concerns.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for support procedures, configuration settings, and troubleshooting steps to ensure consistency and support efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with IT teams involved in patch management, security, and regional deskside support to ensure a seamless migration experience.
Required Experience:
- OS Expertise: Extensive experience in troubleshooting and supporting Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Endpoint Management: Proficiency with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft SCCM, MDT, Intune, or similar.
- Security Practices: Strong knowledge of endpoint security best practices and implementation.
- Technical Understanding: In-depth understanding of Active Directory, Group Policies, Networking, and Endpoint Security.
- Scripting and Tools: Experience with PowerShell, command-line scripts, and SysInternals tools.
