Sr FullStack Engineer (Node.js & React.js)

We are seeking highly motivated engineers who are excited about building high-quality software products in a new, exciting, and expanding product space. Your primary focus will be working on an agile team developing and delivering new product features. In addition to strong software design skills, effective written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

You'll need hands-on exposure to JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, and building microservices in the AWS Cloud. A good understanding of SQL database architecture and the ability to write a decent stored procedure wouldn't hurt anybody.

Some good things to have:

Previous start-up experience would be great but not required. An understanding of the nature of start-ups is required.

Five or more years of professional software development experience with server-side and web-based technologies

Familiarity with Docker and using AWS to build micro-services.

Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies and using JIRA to manage your work

Familiarity with web frameworks (expressJS, graphql and prisma)

You'll need excellent attention to detail and the ability to get your work done without someone poking you along, and yet be fearless enough to ask your teammates for help when you need it.

You need to be able to debug your own code and do your own QA. You must test your code before checking it in.

Understanding of GIT and the ability to use it.

Strong Node.js, express.js, handlebars, and pug.

Understanding and writing a basic SQL select statement is requiredactual skill in SQL would-be killer.
