BAM Infraconsult is the consultancy and engineering office for Royal BAM Group's civil engineering sector. The company has around 300 employees spread across offices in Gouda (head office), Apeldoorn, The Hague, Breda, and Utrecht. Their services include design, consultancy, inspection and supervision, risk management, systems engineering, and innovation across civil engineering and architectural projects — covering the design, construction, and management phases. BAM Infraconsult is part of the largest construction company in the Netherlands, which means employees are involved not only in the tender and design phase, but also in the realisation and often long-term maintenance of projects.

About the role:

As a BIM Modeller, you are a key figure in a project. Together with your model an drawings, you bring a "Digital Twin" to life — a detailed 3D model that, prior to the construction phase, provides an accurate representation of the structure. This ensures that all interfaces are coordinated and resolved during the design phase, allowing the building to be constructed flawlessly in practice. No two days in your week are the same. There is plenty of room for your own initiative and you will contribute to impressive multidisciplinary projects. The BIM knowledge you gain in projects you also pass on to younger colleagues. You identify risks in the design at an early stage, think along proactively, and participate in modular design and circular construction.

In this role, you will be working on one of TenneT's high-voltage station projects, contributing to the design and development of critical energy infrastructure in the Netherlands. As a BIM Modeller, you will create detailed 3D models in Revit that support the safe and accurate construction of these large-scale electrical substations, playing a key role in the country's energy transition.

Requirements:

Completed bachelors or masters degree, preferably in Civil Engineering 

At least 10 years of hands-on experience with Revit

Work experience in civil engineering, contracting, or at an engineering firm

Strong ability to identify problems and trace their root causes

An eye for new opportunities and the initiative to build collaborations

Able to voice shared interests while remaining constructively critical

Good communicator and precise worker
