 Job Description:

IT Support Technician
We are seeking an IT Support Technician to troubleshoot and implement technology solutions that meet end-user business needs in a frontline, on-site role.

Responsibilities:
This on-site position involves a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Assembling equipment (Rollouts).
  • Relocating equipment between floors and buildings.
  • Installing equipment at workstations.
  • Replacing monitors and/or telephones at customer locations.
  • Providing basic technical support for EUC (End-User Computing) needs on-site.

Key Duties:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot Level 1 issues related to personal computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Respond to help desk inquiries and user requests regarding computer systems.
  • Acknowledge user requests within defined service levels.
  • Create and manage service tickets, ensuring accurate and detailed documentation.
  • Maintain user information and support documentation.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer requests via the ticketing system.
  • Contribute to meeting the organization's Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong ability to develop business relationships and communicate effectively with users.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
  • Foundational knowledge of network, server, and desktop administration, including installation, upgrades, tools, and techniques.
  • Customer service skills to effectively address user difficulties with PC-based tools and products.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of general office tasks.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
