Nova Talent are working alongside our client, a leading Agricultural Support company in their search for a Full Stack Web Developer.

Working for a business that prides itself on our innovative and customer-focused approach, the ideal candidate will be dedicated to crafting well-structured, maintainable, and efficient code, actively engaging in code reviews, pair programming, and retrospectives, while consistently enhancing our codebases to improve performance and scalability. Technologies used within the business include Laravel, React, InertiaJS, Typescript, FilamentPHP, MySQL, JIRA, Tailwind, AWS CDK, Shopify, and Docker.

· This role can either be office-based or home-based, with a requirement to travel to one of the offices in Telford or Nottingham as needed.

· Salary £40,000 - £55,000/DOE

Requirements for the role:

· Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, and able to demonstrate your experience of working across a variety of projects.

· Solid experience with Laravel frameworks.

· Back end and front end development experience.

· Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, CDK, and EventBridge is desirable.

· Excellent communication skill and a collaborative approach.

· Proficiency in Typescript will be a significant advantage, although we welcome applications from those willing to learn and develop their skills in this area.

Duties include:

· Writing high-quality, testable, and efficient code in adherence to best software development practices.

· Diagnosing and fixing bugs.

· Refactoring and optimizing the codebase for easier maintenance and scalability.

· Engaging in team activities like code reviews, pair programming, and retrospectives.

· Developing and maintaining software documentation.

· Following company procedures to deliver exceptional service to their customer base.
