We are seeking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our clients Finance & Administration Team based in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and efficient individual, that likes to take ownership of their work.
Salary: £24,000 Pro Rata
Holidays: 33 days, including bank holidays

What we are looking for in a Accounts Payable Assistant:
- High attention to detail.
- Innovative and creative approach.
- Excellent written English and grammatical knowledge.
- IT Skills Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Database Management.
- Flexible approach, highly organised and effective time management skills.
- Work as part of a small, dedicated team.
- Finance software knowledge.
- Accounts experience.
Duties of the Accounts Payable Assistant to include, but not limited to:
- Responsible for company mail & distributing within the business.
- Filing, limited reception duties, registering visitors on arrival ang signing for deliveries.
- Marrying up transactions in the bank and process the mixed payments.
- Employee expenses & petty cash claims.
- Entering suppliers invoices on to Purchase Ledger.
- Reconciling Purchase ledger statements.
- Monitoring stock accounts.
- Answering incoming emails and calls from suppliers.
- Assisting with any other purchase ledger tasks as required.
