Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Electronics Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be involved in the design, development, testing, and documentation of cutting-edge products, as well as their associated manufacturing test systems. Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the electronic design and development lifecycle to meet project goals, including:

  • Circuit design (with support from senior engineers)
  • Evaluation and troubleshooting of prototype PCBs
  • Supporting hardware integration and testing activities
  • Developing and executing test plans and writing test reports
  • Producing clear technical documentation
  • Participating in hardware design, build, and review sessions
  • Apply your knowledge and skills to meet day-to-day engineering challenges with regular support and guidance
  • Offer creative input and suggestions within established technical parameters
  • Collaborate with the wider department and support the department manager in related initiatives

What Were Looking For:

  • A 1st or 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a relevant technical subject (Electronics/Mechatronics)
  • Strong academic performance at A Level (or equivalent), particularly in science and mathematics
  • Hands-on experience in electronic circuit design, prototyping, and development
  • Practical understanding or familiarity with:
  • Analogue, digital, and RF electronics
  • Basic network technologies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A logical, analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Well-organised and able to manage tasks with guidance
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn
  • Practical, hands-on mindset with a customer-focused attitude

Salary & Benefits:

  • £30,000-£32,000
