We are currently recruiting a Soil Sampling Specialist to join a UK Leading Agronomic Advice and Product Supplier, within the Agricultural Sector. Employing 400 people across the UK, this is a company that recognises its people as their most important asset and is committed to developing its employees and the business.

Reporting in to the Regional Manager the successful candidate will be based from home visiting and assisting clients around the Yorkshire area. This is a field based role, applicants must be prepared to travel with occasional overnight stays.

What we are looking for:

· Customer Service Experience

· Ideally soil health & sampling experience

· Understanding of precision farming products (desirable but not essential)

· Customer centric individual and approach

· Knowledge of Arable farming

· ATV Licence is desirable

· UK Driving Licence

Duties to include but not limited to:

· Conducting soil sampling activities across your allotted area, taking multiple samples on each field and compliancy soil samples.

· Soil samples to be taken utilising an ATV with GPS system to navigate the fields.

· Process the soil samples in a timely and professional manner.

· Liaising with the farmer when on site, ensuring that their expectations are met.

· Operate Drone flights for data collection.

· Provide technical support for growers where required.

· Liaise with internal stakeholders such a Decision Support Specialists to keep them up to date with sampling progress.
