The Opportunity
We are partnering with a global leader in packaging and printing solutions to identify a Technical Service Representative supporting wide web flexographic and gravure printing operations.
This is a customer-facing, high-impact role where you will serve as the technical bridge between advanced ink/coating solutions and real-world pressroom performance.

What You'll Own
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for key flexo and gravure customers
- Lead on-site troubleshooting, print optimization, and defect resolution
- Support press trials, product launches, and technical audits
- Optimize performance of water-based and solvent-based inks and coatings
- Partner cross-functionally with R&D, sales, and manufacturing teams
- Build strong customer relationships and drive retention and growth
- Maintain detailed documentation to support continuous improvement and proactive service
What You Bring

5+ years of experience in:
- Flexographic and/or gravure printing environments
- Flexible packaging and ink/coating applications

Strong expertise in:
- Print troubleshooting and defect analysis
- Ink/substrate interactions and drying systems
- Color matching and pressroom optimization

Proven ability to:
- Work directly with customers in technical environments
- Solve complex problems under real production conditions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and operational teams
Preferred Profile
- Experience with color management systems (X-Rite or similar)
- Knowledge of lamination, coating, and converting processes
- Familiarity with VOC compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to operate independently in a high-travel, field-based role
Environment & Expectations
- Remote-based role within KS, MO, IA, or NE
- Travel: Up to 70% (customer sites, pressrooms, manufacturing facilities)
- High autonomy with strong support from technical and commercial teams
