You'll operate in an environment where:

What You'll Own
- Serve as technical authority for dispositioning non-conforming materials (MRB)
- Lead PPAP approvals, ensuring dimensional and process integrity
- Drive root cause analysis (RCCA) and long-term corrective actions
- Provide rapid-response technical support for manufacturing operations
- Influence process improvements across casting, forging, machining, and fabrication
- Collaborate across teams to enhance product quality, durability, and cost efficiency
- Lead initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
What You Bring
- 10+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing, mechanical, or production engineering

Strong expertise in:
- Quality systems (RCCA, PPAP, CAR/COR, etc.)
- GD&T (ASME standards)
- Manufacturing processes (castings, forgings, machining, welding, coatings)

Experience interpreting:
- Inspection data (CMM, ATOS, metrology systems)
- Ability to lead technically across cross-functional engineering teams
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a bias toward action and ownership
Preferred Profile
- Experience with gas turbines, turbomachinery, or aerospace systems
- Six Sigma Black Belt or strong DMAIC experience
- Exposure to supplier quality and manufacturing ecosystems
- Familiarity with CAD tools (CREO or similar)
- Ability to operate independently in fast-paced production environments
Environment & Expectations
- Onsite: 5 days/week in San Diego
