Northwest Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading aerospace and advanced systems organization to identify a high-impact Electrical Engineer specializing in Cables & Interconnects.

This is a precision-critical role where your work directly influences system performance, reliability, and hardware integrity.

This is not a traditional network engineering role.

This is physical systems engineering—designing and optimizing the cable and interconnect architecture that powers complex electronic and flight hardware systems.

Engineers in this role:

• Own system-level interconnect design
• Influence performance, safety, and testability
• Work in environments where precision matters

What You'll Do:

• Design and develop cable harness assemblies for complex electronic systems
• Create and maintain interconnect diagrams for flight hardware and support systems
• Apply electrical engineering fundamentals to circuit and system design
• Evaluate design changes and downstream system impact
• Ensure excellence across fabrication, testing, and documentation
• Maintain high-accuracy engineering documentation and traceability

What You Bring:

• Experience in cable harness design, interconnect systems, or wiring for complex hardware
• Proficiency with Capital Harness, Xpedition, or similar tools
• Understanding of DC power distribution
• Experience with engineering prints and documentation standards
• Exposure to cable fabrication/testing (DITMCO is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and systems-thinking mindset

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  OR equivalent hands-on experience
• 2–5+ years of relevant experience
