Northwest Talent Solutions (NWTS) is partnering with a leading, global manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer who thrives at the intersection of automation, power systems, and capital project execution.

This is a high-visibility role supporting multi-million-dollar investments across North American manufacturing plants—where your expertise directly impacts safety, performance, and production outcomes.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead end-to-end electrical & controls engineering for capital projects

  • Design and implement power distribution systems (480V / 4160V), MCCs, and control panels

  • Program and optimize Allen-Bradley PLCs & HMIs

  • Develop engineering specs, scopes, cost estimates, and project schedules

  • Manage vendors, contractors, and system integrators through commissioning and startup

  • Drive safety excellence (NFPA 70E, arc flash, electrical compliance)

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

  • 5–10+ years in industrial controls + electrical engineering (manufacturing environment required)

  • Strong expertise in:

    • Allen-Bradley PLC/HMI programming

    • Industrial automation & control systems

    • Power distribution (480V / 4160V), MCCs, switchgear

  • Proven experience leading or supporting capital projects ($500K–$15M)

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Comfortable with 50–75% travel across North America
