Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Intelligence Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Top Secret/SCI clearance and extensive experience in cyber intelligence and threat analysis. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of cyber threats, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risks, and providing recommendations to improve our clients' cybersecurity posture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of cyber threats and vulnerabilities, utilizing various tools and techniques to identify potential risks and impacts
- Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and other data sources to identify and respond to potential security incidents
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate cyber risks, including recommending security controls and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address vulnerabilities in systems and networks
- Provide regular reports and briefings to management and clients on the current threat landscape and potential risks
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats, techniques, and technologies through research and training
- Participate in incident response and remediation efforts as needed
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to junior team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber intelligence and threat analysis
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Strong understanding of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors
- Experience with tools and techniques for network and system monitoring and analysis
- Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices, such as NIST and CIS
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications and training as needed
