Position Overview:

As the Pharmacy Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department. This includes managing a team of pharmacists and technicians, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations, and maintaining high-quality standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a team of pharmacists and technicians, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations

- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including maintaining accurate records and reporting

- Oversee inventory management and ordering of medications and supplies

- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and other departments within the organization

- Monitor and analyze pharmacy metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and quality of care

- Provide guidance and support to pharmacy staff regarding patient care and medication management

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement medication therapy management programs

- Stay current on industry developments and changes in regulations, and update policies and procedures as needed

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all quality standards

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy

- Active pharmacy license in the state of Arizona

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmacy leadership role

- Strong understanding of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to lead and motivate a team

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Experience with pharmacy software and technology

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
