This role requires a keen ability to identify and eliminate process waste, as well as proficiency in coaching management and operators in Lean principles and culture. Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Services Manager to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing our technical services department, ensuring the successful delivery of services to our clients and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing successful teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the technical services department, including recruiting, training, and mentoring team members
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of technical services delivery
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration and coordination of services
- Monitor and analyze department performance metrics and make recommendations for improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve service offerings
- Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues and provide timely resolution
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service
- Manage budgets and resources to meet department goals and objectives
- Participate in business development activities, including client presentations and proposals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical services management role
- Strong technical background, with knowledge of various technologies and systems
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Proven track record of managing successful teams and delivering high-quality services
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Experience in project management and budgeting is a plus
