Support Mission-Critical Military Communication Systems

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the full lifecycle of advanced military communication products. This role sits at the intersection of design, manufacturing, and product support, working hands-on to solve complex electrical challenges in analog, digital, and RF systems.

What You'll Do:

  • Investigate and troubleshoot analog, digital, and RF circuit issues to the component level
  • Monitor production yields, analyze failures, and implement corrective actions
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and ensure successful transition to production
  • Perform root cause analysis and lead technical investigations
  • Improve product quality through:
    • Design enhancements
    • Process improvements
    • Test optimization
  • Mitigate component shortages and obsolescence through redesign and qualification
  • Collaborate with:
    • Manufacturing
    • Quality
    • Supply chain
    • Engineering teams
  • Provide guidance and technical support to junior engineers and technicians
  • Conduct simulations, experiments, and validation testing

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
  • 6+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education/experience)
  • Strong experience with:
    • Analog and digital circuit troubleshooting
    • RF systems (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to troubleshoot to the component level
  • Experience using lab equipment:
    • Oscilloscope
    • DMM
    • Spectrum/network analyzers
    • Logic analyzers
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to lead small technical efforts and mentor others
  • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

Preferred Experience:

  • Tactical radio systems
  • Manufacturing or production environment
  • LabVIEW, Jira, or similar tools
  • Component selection and qualification
