Cybersecurity Engineer / ISSO (TS/SCI)

Multiple Locations | Mission-Critical Programs | $140K–$190K+

Overview:

We are actively building a pipeline of top-tier Cybersecurity Engineers and ISSOs (TS/SCI) to support a portfolio of high-impact programs across DoD and Intelligence Community environments.

This role is central to protecting mission-critical systems, cloud platforms, and data environments, ensuring compliance, resilience, and operational integrity across secure systems.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and support RMF (Risk Management Framework) processes across systems
  • Develop and maintain ATO (Authority to Operate) packages
  • Perform security control assessments aligned to NIST 800-53
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation (STIGs, SCAP, ACAS)
  • Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls
  • Support continuous monitoring (ConMon) and audit readiness
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security into cloud and system architectures
  • Contribute to Zero Trust and modern cybersecurity initiatives

What You Bring:

  • Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance (required)
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or ISSO roles
  • Strong experience with:
    • RMF and NIST frameworks
    • ATO lifecycle management
    • STIGs, vulnerability scanning, and remediation
  • Familiarity with:
    • Security tools (ACAS, SCAP, eMASS, Nessus)
    • System hardening and compliance practices
  • Experience supporting classified or regulated environments

Preferred:

  • CI or FS Polygraph
  • Certifications (Security+, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting DoD, IC, or federal programs
  • Exposure to:
    • Cloud security (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
    • Zero Trust architectures
    • DevSecOps environments

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $140K – $190K+
  • Higher for poly-cleared and senior ISSM-level candidates
  • Full benefits + long-term program stability
