Northwest Talent Solutions is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to identify a Plant Manager who will serve as the operational leader and customer-facing authority within a specialized production environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role—ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of:
- Production operations
- Quality and process control
- Customer engagement and technical service
You'll play a critical role ensuring seamless production flow, product quality, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
What You'll Own:
- Lead and supervise Ink Technicians and technical support staff
- Oversee day-to-day plant operations including scheduling, production flow, and inventory
- Serve as the primary liaison between production and customer operations
- Manage and optimize the ink blending process and quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives tied to productivity and efficiency
- Support customer trials, product development, and issue resolution
- Maintain formulation files, production records, and compliance documentation
- Ensure adherence to safety, housekeeping, and VOC compliance standards

Provide leadership across:
- Performance management
- Scheduling
- Coaching and development
What You Bring:
- Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing or production environment

Hands-on experience with:
- Ink blending OR similar batch/process manufacturing
- Quality control systems and standards
- Inventory coordination and production scheduling
- Strong ability to manage customer-facing technical operations

Experience with:
- Formulation files / production records
- Process troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Working knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards
Ideal Background:
- Printing, packaging, coatings, chemicals, or similar industries
- Experience in batch production or color-based manufacturing environments
- Comfortable operating in a high-touch, customer-integrated setting
