Northwest Talent Solutions is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to identify a Plant Manager who will serve as the operational leader and customer-facing authority within a specialized production environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role—ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of:

You'll play a critical role ensuring seamless production flow, product quality, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

What You'll Own:

  • Lead and supervise Ink Technicians and technical support staff
  • Oversee day-to-day plant operations including scheduling, production flow, and inventory
  • Serve as the primary liaison between production and customer operations
  • Manage and optimize the ink blending process and quality standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives tied to productivity and efficiency
  • Support customer trials, product development, and issue resolution
  • Maintain formulation files, production records, and compliance documentation
  • Ensure adherence to safety, housekeeping, and VOC compliance standards
  • Provide leadership across:
    • Performance management
    • Scheduling
    • Coaching and development

What You Bring:

  • Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Ink blending OR similar batch/process manufacturing
    • Quality control systems and standards
    • Inventory coordination and production scheduling
  • Strong ability to manage customer-facing technical operations
  • Experience with:
    • Formulation files / production records
    • Process troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Working knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards

Ideal Background:

  • Printing, packaging, coatings, chemicals, or similar industries
  • Experience in batch production or color-based manufacturing environments
  • Comfortable operating in a high-touch, customer-integrated setting
