We are conducting a confidential search for a Materials Supervisor to support a high-volume manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced plant environments and is passionate about material flow, inventory accuracy, and team leadership.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Lead all internal material flow from receiving/inspection through line-side delivery, picking, packing, and shipping

  • Ensure uninterrupted material availability to production lines

  • Oversee inventory management, cycle counting, and transactional accuracy

  • Supervise and develop a materials team, including team leads

  • Drive continuous improvement in material handling, labor efficiency, and inventory accuracy

  • Partner cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Planning

  • Maintain accurate ERP transactions related to material movement

  • Act as ERP/SAP Super User within the materials function (as assigned)

  • Track and communicate KPIs related to delivery performance, inventory accuracy, and labor utilization

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience

  • Minimum 2+ years of materials or inventory leadership

  • Experience leading teams, developing people, and organizing work

  • Strong communication, accountability, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to lead effectively in changing or high-variability environments

Preferred

  • Experience using SAP or comparable ERP systems (Oracle, JD Edwards, Dynamics)

  • Background in manufacturing or production-based operations

  • Exposure to cycle counting programs, warehouse management, or material flow optimization

  • Formal leadership or supervisory training

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $63,000 – $80,000

  • Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k)
