What You'll Be Responsible For:

Design, implement, and improve manufacturing equipment and processes

Lead and support capital equipment projects, from concept through installation and debugging

Troubleshoot mechanical systems including cams, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automated equipment

Drive capacity expansion, quality improvement, waste reduction, and cost savings initiatives

Partner with equipment vendors, internal R&D teams, and plant operations

Prepare and manage capital appropriation requests and project budgets

Develop and maintain required engineering documentation:

Validations
-
SOPs
-
Preventive maintenance schedules

Engineering change documentation

Spare parts lists
-

Support production teams through training and process optimization

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards
What We're Looking For:
Required:
-
Hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
-
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
-
Comfort working on-site on the production floor

Ability to manage multiple projects of varying scope

Clear communication and collaboration skills
Preferred (not all required):

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Bioengineering, or similar
(or equivalent practical experience) -
Experience with capital equipment, automation, or regulated manufacturing

Exposure to medical device, pharma, plastics, packaging, or high-reliability manufacturing
Work Environment & Safety

Manufacturing environment with strict safety and GMP standards

Steel-toe footwear required on the production floor

Competitive base salary: $66,000 – $108,000 (based on experience)
