GTC Manager (Ink / Color / Print Operations)

Perry, GA | Full-Time | Relocation Available

Northwest Talent Solutions (NWTS) is partnering with a leading manufacturing organization to identify a GTC Manager to lead a color-critical, customer-facing ink and print operation.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the intersection of ink formulation, press performance, and production operations—and knows how to drive both quality and efficiency at scale.

What You'll Own:

  • Lead day-to-day operations of a Graphical Technical Center (GTC) supporting press schedules and customer production

  • Oversee ink formulation, color matching, and QC standards to meet precise customer specifications

  • Provide technical troubleshooting support for press and ink-related issues

  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across ink room processes

  • Manage inventory levels, obsolete materials, and formulation files

  • Coordinate team schedules and workflows to ensure Ink-to-Press continuity while optimizing costs

  • Drive Lean / 5S practices to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient operation

  • Track and improve production performance, downtime, and root cause resolution

  • Lead, coach, and develop Graphic Technicians, including performance management and training

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in ink, print, packaging, or color-driven manufacturing environments

  • Strong background in:

    • Color matching and formulation management

    • Ink room operations and press-side troubleshooting

  • Proven ability to lead teams in a production or technical environment

  • Experience with Lean manufacturing, 5S, and process improvement initiatives

  • Strong operational discipline across:

    • Inventory management

    • Scheduling and workflow coordination

    • Quality control and documentation

  • Ability to operate in a customer-facing environment, balancing service and production demands

Why This Role Stands Out:

  • Direct impact on production quality, customer satisfaction, and operational performance

  • A role that blends technical expertise with leadership responsibility

  • Opportunity to own and improve critical processes in a specialized manufacturing environment

  • Backed by a stable organization with clear performance expectations and growth opportunity

A Note from NWTS:

We're not looking for general manufacturing leaders.

We're looking for professionals who:

  • Understand color, ink, and press environments deeply

  • Can step in and solve problems in real time

  • And have a track record of driving measurable improvements in quality, uptime, and efficiency

If that's your background, this is a highly aligned opportunity.
