About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading precision manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced CNC Turning Machinist to produce high-accuracy components that power next-generation technology in the semiconductor and advanced measurement sectors. You'll work in a state-of-the-art facility machining tight-tolerance parts for advanced instruments used worldwide. The role requires exceptional technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for building excellence one part at a time.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and fine-tune CNC Swiss Turning and CNC Lathe equipment for precision part production.

Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and engineering specifications to ensure part accuracy.

Program and edit G & M Codes for complex components.

Inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools and GD&T principles to verify sub-micron tolerances.

Collaborate with engineers to improve process efficiency and machining strategies.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace aligned with quality and EHS standards.
Required Experience:

Minimum 7+ years of CNC turning experience, including 3+ years in CNC Swiss Turning.

Proven success machining precision parts within sub-0.0005 in / 0.0127 mm tolerances.

Expertise in GD&T, blueprint reading, and manual G/M code programming.

Skilled with metrology and advanced measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators, CMMs).

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and process improvement mindset.
Preferred Experience:

Experience with CAD/CAM software (Esprit, MasterCam, NX).

Familiarity with tool grinding and Star Swiss-style lathes.

Background in NPI or high-mix, low-volume precision manufacturing environments.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive base salary: $70,000 $115,000 USD, depending on experience.
