We are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead the IT operations within a fast-growing, innovative company in the biopharmaceutical sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in managing IT infrastructures, cybersecurity, and enterprise solutions, particularly within a regulated environment such as biotech, life sciences, or healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the companys IT strategy, aligning it with organizational goals.
  • Oversee IT governance, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, including GDPR and data privacy laws.
  • Implement and manage robust cybersecurity measures and data integrity protocols.
  • Lead the maintenance and enhancement of IT systems.
  • Manage IT infrastructure across multiple sites, including remote working solutions.
  • Provide IT thought leadership, driving improvements in business processes and performance.
  • Oversee IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate staff training on IT systems to maximize operational efficiency.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of seven years in IT operations, with at least four years in a management role within a biotech, life sciences, or regulated healthcare environment.
  • Strong strategic and hands-on experience in IT leadership, including the development and implementation of IT strategies.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of executing complex IT projects successfully.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems, cybersecurity, network administration, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (graduate degree preferred).
