Delivery Driver

At Northern Fitness, we strive to provide an exceptional customer experience across all customer touchpoints, in particular with our final mile delivery and white glove services. The Delivery Technician plays a key role in ensuring a positive experience and timely delivery of orders. This position involves delivering fitness equipment products, providing proof of delivery, basic vehicle maintenance, and general warehouse duties. Physical fitness, competency with tools, high degree of attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential to success in this position.

Responsibilities

Order Loading: Review daily run sheet, load items based on optimal access & minimizing damage in transit, and verify contents of loaded vehicle matches order packing slips.

Order Delivery & Unloading: Safely deliver orders to customers (room of choice if applicable) and adhere to any specific delivery instructions.

Customer Communication: Greet customers in a friendly manner, provide proactive updates to customers regarding arrival time, and address any customer questions.

Equipment Assembly: Efficiently assemble equipment per manufacturer instructions using appropriate tools and conduct testing to ensure equipment is functional.

Vehicle Maintenance: Schedule service appointments, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and raise any concerns regarding vehicle safety/performance issues.

Warehouse Duties: Pick orders, assist with consolidation/organization, and general cleaning/maintenance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

G license with clean driver's abstract

1 years of delivery driver experience

1 year of moving or white glove delivery experience

Comfortability in a physically demanding role including standing for long periods of time, repetitive tasks/movements and lifting heavy objects up to 150 lbs

Ability to work efficiently under strict timelines, while ensuring accuracy

Organized and detail-oriented

Effective communication and customer service skills

Positive attitude and willingness to grow in the role

Mechanically inclined and competent with hand & power tools
