Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and architectures that support our data-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and architectures, including data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and implement data quality and validation frameworks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance and efficiency, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Leverage AI and machine learning techniques to extract valuable insights from data and develop predictive models.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and data management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
• Expertise in data transformation and ETL/ELT processes using tools like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and cloud-based data services.
• Experience with data warehousing and data lake concepts.
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning algorithms and frameworks is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
