Senior IT Security Analyst - Cybersecurity

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Security Analyst with a strong background in cybersecurity to join our client's dynamic team. This role is responsible for safeguarding our client's information assets by implementing and maintaining robust security measures. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, particularly those relevant to the manufacturing industry, and have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and network security.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards to protect sensitive information.
• Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Monitor security systems and logs for suspicious activity, and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
• Implement and manage cloud security controls, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and standards.
• Design and implement network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
• Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security consciousness.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies and tools to enhance the organization's security posture.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, and proactively recommend security improvements.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into all projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in information security.
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Strong background in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure/network security.
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
