Senior Data Architect - Cloud

As a Senior Data Architect - Cloud, you will play a pivotal role in driving data and analytics initiatives for our client. You will be responsible for developing data architecture plans in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders. Your expertise will be instrumental in implementing cloud data transformation, data governance, data quality, and data standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data architecture plans aligned with business and IT strategies.
• Lead the design and implementation of cloud data solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and trends.
• Mentor and guide junior data architects and analysts.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with a strong focus on cloud data architecture.
• Hands-on experience with developing architecture strategies and roadmaps.
• Expertise in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Cloudera, Hive and Kafka.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Nice to have - Certifications such as Certified Data Architect (CDA), Certified Cloud Architect (CCA), or Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
• Experience with specific cloud platforms like Azure, or AWS.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
