Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated Associate Consultant to join our team and work with companies developing cutting-edge technologies across Europe. You should be excited about taking on new challenges, looking to use your initiative, and be highly proactive.

You will play a crucial role in assisting our clients during the preparation of proposals for their innovative projects for various national and EU funding programmes, drawing on your educational background and technical knowledge.

You will work under the guidance of your Team Manager and Senior Consultants, who will help to develop, train and mentor you to become part of our growing and successful team that are consistently managing high quality funding proposals for our European and Spanish client base.

Responsibilities

  • Assist our Consultants and Seniors in developing and writing project proposals that align with our clients´ innovation objectives and the programmes´ evaluation criteria.
  • Assist our Consultants and Seniors in communicating with our clients and gathering information.
  • Provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and documentation for applications.
  • Maintain regular communication with the team, providing updates on the status of the applications and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in innovation, technology, and funding opportunities.
  • Contribute to Nordic Innovators as a whole.

Candidate requirements

  • Work permit in Spain or Denmark.
  • Bachelor´s or master´s degree in a field such as Computer Science, Physics, Machine Learning, Quantum Computing, Renewable Energies, Chemistry, or a similar subject.
  • Fluency in English (C1 written and spoken) is a requirement.
  • Any additional qualifications in business or finance (e.g. MBA) would be advantageous but is not a requirement.
  • Project management experience would be advantageous but is not a requirement.
  • Ability to analyse complex information, identify key insights, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • A team player who contributes to the existing positive working environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
  • Proactive and able to work independently.
