Fullstack Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

We are working with a FoodTech company, and as part of their continued growth, NodeFlair has been engaged to search for a Fullstack Engineer to join their Singapore team.

The package is competitive at SGD 60,000 - 108,000 / year (excluding bonus).

Mission
Develop production-ready software to support business growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences through collaboration and discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance backend performance and reliability, focusing on Ruby on Rails servers, GCP deployments, and Cloudflare workers.
• Write high-quality, test-driven code with RSpec.
• Address performance bottlenecks using profiling tools.
• Create scalable systems, robust documentation, and support knowledge-sharing efforts.
• Lead the engineering team by setting high standards, managing technical hiring, and mentoring team members.
• Architect new and existing systems with a focus on scalability and reliability.
• Promote a strong culture of code reviews, pair programming, and test-driven development.

Technical Requirements

• Proficient in Ruby, RSpec, Javascript/Typescript, and SQL.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, Postgres, and GraphQL (or willingness to learn).
• Strong understanding of serverless architectures, deployments, scaling, and security.
• Skilled in command-line tools (e.g., Zsh, Vim, Tmux).
