Lead Platform Engineer

We are working with a heavily funded leading automotive company, and as part of their continued growth, NodeFlair has been engaged to search for both a Lead Platform Engineer to join their Singapore team.

The package is competitive at SGD 126k-174k / year (excluding bonus).

About the Role

As a Lead Platform Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage platform infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and development tools. Youll drive automation, scalability, and system reliability while mentoring a team and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical roadmap for internal developer tools.
• Enhance developer experience through self-service platform operations.
• Drive DevOps, SRE, and security best practices.
• Manage third-party vendors and cloud service providers.
• Ensure 24/7 operational performance and compliance.
• Lead a team of DevOps, SREs, and Developers.
• Perform hands-on work with scripting, IaC, and custom tools.

Requirements

• 12+ years in software development, cloud architecture, and infrastructure.
• 3+ years leading teams and managing projects.
• Expertise in Cloud & Event-Driven Architecture, DevOps, and SRE.
• Experience with security, automation, and CI/CD.
• Proficiency in Java, Node.js, Go, or Python.
• AWS certification is a plus.
