We are working with a telecomm company, and as part of their continued growth, NodeFlair has been engaged to search for a IT & Security Infrastructure Engineer to join their Singapore team.
The package is competitive at SGD 84k-108k / year (excluding bonus).
Overview:
Manage on-prem and cloud network infrastructure, ensuring seamless IT and security operations. Maintain, enhance, and secure systems while collaborating with cybersecurity teams for compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Engineering: Design, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls (FortiGate/Palo Alto), VPNs, and cloud environments. Troubleshoot network issues, implement upgrades, and collaborate on integration.
- Infrastructure Operations: Oversee security infrastructure, monitor performance, manage IT platforms (servers, routers, firewalls), and ensure uptime. Implement firewalls, access controls, and security best practices.
- IT & Security Processes: Perform maintenance, manage user access, system backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity. Provide technical support and evaluate new technologies for efficiency.
- Vendor Management: Oversee external IT vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure SLAs are met for procurement, installation, and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 6-8 years in network engineering, IT infrastructure, and administration.
- Certifications preferred: CCNA, RHCE, MCSE, VCP.
- Experience with security tools (PAM, QRadar, SIEM, NCM), firewalls (FortiGate/Palo Alto), and physical servers (HPE/Hitachi).
- Strong knowledge of Cisco/Aruba switches, F5 LTM, Windows/Linux OS, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and networking protocols.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, SAN/NAS storage, and database administration.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and vendor management skills.
