Software Architect

We are working with a USA-founded company in the data business, where they have been one of the top players in the space for 15-20 years. While they have been highly profitable for many years, they are now prioritising growth to rapidly expand for a potential IPO / merger. 

NodeFlair has been engaged on a confidential search for a Software Architect to revamp and optimise their existing technology architecture.

Compensation: around 200k/yr SGD

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and evolve software architecture, focusing on cloud-native infrastructure.
• Lead development teams, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.
• Guide technology choices, coding standards, and workflow optimization.
• Oversee project progress and address performance bottlenecks.
• Travel to Manila 2-3 times per quarter (else it is pretty remote)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Around 8 years in software development, 4 years in software architecture.
• Expertise in cloud-native infrastructure, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, NodeJS, Vue, NuxtJs, and big data technologies.
• Knowledge of high-availability systems and optimization techniques.
• AWS certifications and familiarity with global shipping and logistics.
