Software Engineering Manager

We are working with one of the leading pioneers in the Cryptocurrency space as one of the largest data platform, and as part of their continued growth, NodeFlair has been engaged to search for a Software Engineering Manager to join their Malaysia team (Remote).

The package is competitive at MYR 330k-363,600 / year (excluding bonus).

Looking for an Engineering Manager to drive operational excellence, team growth, and technical leadership. This role involves resource planning, talent management, service reliability, and engineering culture development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Excellence: Oversee delivery metrics, improve engineering workflows, and optimize resource allocation.
• Engineering Leadership: Define team goals, communicate progress to stakeholders, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Talent Management: Lead hiring, onboarding, performance improvement, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Service Reliability: Develop technical roadmaps, ensure compliance, and manage incident recovery processes.
• Documentation & Assets: Maintain and enhance career development plans, dashboards, and engineering playbooks.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging technologies, lead R&D efforts, and drive upskilling initiatives.
• Engineering Culture: Implement strategies for innovation, team collaboration, and fostering a people-centric work environment.

Requirements:

• Up to 10 years of software development or engineering leadership experience.
• Expertise in software development techniques, tools, and change management for mid-to-large teams.
• Strong business acumen and ability to drive department-wide roadmaps.
• Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Experience in blockchain, cryptocurrency, or financial markets is a plus.
• Prior experience in growth-stage startups or tech enterprises is a bonus.
