Robotics Perception Engineer

We are working with a tech company, and as part of their continued growth, NodeFlair has been engaged to search for a Robotics Perception Engineer to join their Singapore team.

The package is competitive at SGD 78k-102k (excluding bonus).

About the Role

• Lead the design and development of advanced 3D machine vision systems for industrial robotics, ensuring high precision and performance
• Collaborate with robotics engineers and software developers to integrate 3D vision technology into robotic applications
• Oversee the integration of 3D sensors with robotic systems, optimizing for accuracy and reliability
• Develop and refine algorithms for data acquisition, image processing, and object recognition
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges to ensure robust and reliable machine vision performance in industrial environments

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience building and deploying 3D machine vision systems in industrial or product settings
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, and C++, with experience using relevant libraries and frameworks
• Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming (OOP), and adherence to SOLID principles
• In-depth knowledge of 3D sensors and expertise in processing and manipulating point clouds and mesh data
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
