Senior Physical Design Engineer (Backend)

We are working with a design company, and as part of their continued growth, NodeFlair has been engaged to search for Senior Physical Design Engineer (Backend) to join their Singapore team.

The package is competitive at SGD 84k - 126k / year (excluding bonus).


Job Description:

• Collaborate with the front-end team to finalize chip floorplan, clock architecture, and power plan.
• Oversee physical design tasks from Netlist to GDSII, including P&R, formal verification, static timing analysis, physical verification, power analysis, reliability, and tapeout.
• Research methodologies for advanced process nodes and automate the physical design platform.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or higher in electronic engineering, microelectronics, or computer science.
• 5+ years of digital backend design experience; tapeout experience preferred (3+ years for strong junior candidates).
• Proficiency in TCL, Perl, Python scripting, and familiarity with EDA tools is a plus.
• Strong communication, confidence, and teamwork skills.
