Senior Product Engineer

We are working with a FinTech company, and as part of their continued growth, NodeFlair has been engaged to search for a Senior Product Engineer to join their Malaysia team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong product mindset focused on delivering high-quality customer experiences.
• Versatility in frontend, backend, and infrastructure development.
  • Expertise in designing highly-available distributed systems and micro-service architectures.
  • Proficient in Node.js, TypeScript, Express, and NestJS.
  • Experience with React and React Native for web and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of communication patterns: REST, Kafka, gRPC.
• Familiarity with relational databases and data modeling.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies (containerization, orchestration, service meshes).
• Skills in performance optimization, including caching, auto-scaling, and database optimization.
• Proficient in using monitoring systems, dashboards, and alerts.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop efficient, scalable, and robust solutions using TypeScript, Node.js, React/React Native, and Go.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and business stakeholders in an agile environment.
• Uphold and contribute to internal coding standards and best practices.
• Identify and address blockers to improve team efficiency and iteration speed.
