About the Position

The Creative Lead is one of the most exciting positions available within Colourette and Fresh Formula for the right strategic and creative marketing person. You will be a part of the core leadership team working alongside CEO and be jointly accountable for the growth of the business. You will be fully responsible for the shape and direction of the brand including (but not limited to) brand visual identity, brand positioning, consumer insights, portfolio management, product development and innovation, and campaign development. For this opportunity, we are looking for an exceptional branding expert ready to flex his/her entrepreneurial muscles and translate consumer insights into creative ideas that lead to commercial success. You are commercially ambitious, a go-getter, passionately curious, and ready to roll up your sleeves to embark on a great learning adventure on what it takes to build and scale a business.

Responsibilities:

  1. Brand
    1. Gain a deep understanding of Colourette customers and stay on the pulse for the latest trends in the D2C / Colour Cosmetics / Beauty category in order to craft sharp human insights and to fuel innovations.
    2. Refine Colourette’s brand identity and positioning to resonate strongly (functionally & emotionally) with our customers.
    3. Translate brand positioning into a distinctive brand visual identity to drive consistency and memorability across all customer-facing touchpoints.
    4. Define future portfolio strategy including the role and positioning of Colourette and Fresh Formula’s Core, Limited Editions, and other NPDs .
    5. Oversee the development of fresh campaigns for Colourette and Fresh Formula brands to drive brand awareness and trial.
  2. Marketing
    1. Set up guidelines and sharpen the Colourette and Fresh Formula brand presence (together with CEO and Sales Lead) for all key channels – social media, content generation, product development, visual merchandising, etc. Ensure all campaigns drive a commercially successful outcome and achieve KPIs of growing brand equity, awareness, and long-term sustainable sales.
    2. Oversee the execution of brand-building activation levers such as Campaigns, Digital, Social Media, Channel activation, Events, and PR to achieve targeted online and retail sales, market share, profit, and brand health targets.
    3. Track and monitor brand and competitor vanity and performance metrics and be agile to shift gears and modify plans based on data and insights.
    4. Drive in-house creative research efforts, translate consumer insights into design, and implement them across the organization (e.g. product development, marketing, and sales).
  1. Team
    1. You will manage and coach the Creatives team, providing guidance and feedback to help them reach their full potential.
    2. You will serve as a champion for the brand internally. You and your team will represent the voice of the consumer in all conversations and work closely with various departments such as online sales, retail sales and trade marketing, product development, and business intelligence to create a holistic, consistent customer experience.
    3. Work closely with the CEO who will drive the execution of the brand strategy and positioning you develop.

Growth and future

  • Your long-term development is important to us. Success in this role can potentially lead to a Creative Director position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years in brand management experience and/or creatives in Beauty/cosmetics, consumer packaged goods, and lifestyle, preferably at the Supervisor/Manager level
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising or related field is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills. This role will require directly influencing decisions and leading through people.
  • Highly creative with strong attention to details.
  • Deep consumer understanding grounded in both an intuitive understanding of their emotions and psychology, as well as a strong grounding in insights and analytics.
  • Ability to work and lead agile cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Fluent in English and Filipino
