Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver - Home Daily

Most trucking jobs ask you to choose between a paycheck and your own bed. This one does not. Kansas City area drivers on this intermodal account start and end every shift close to home, hauling containers between the rail yard and customers around the metro.

What a Shift Looks Like

You pick up at the rail ramp, run your loads, and head home at the end of the day. Freight is no touch, mostly drop and hook with some live loading and unloading, and you log around 1,100 to 1,300 miles a week without ever leaving the region.

The Pay Side

• Average Weekly: $1,000 to $1,200
• Sign On Bonus: $3,000, paid out in increments
• No Touch: You drive, you do not unload

Who Fits

• 21 or older with a valid Class A CDL
• At least 3 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years and no major preventable accidents in 5
• No DUI or DWI in the past 5 to 10 years
• Able to pass a DOT physical and hair plus urine drug screen
• Living within 50 miles of Edwardsville, KS
