We're hiring CDL-A drivers in the Houma, LA area for OTR routes with a personally assigned truck and 100% no-touch dry van freight. New CDL-A holders and experienced drivers are both welcome to apply.

THE TRUCK AND FREIGHT

  • 2024 and newer Kenworth T680 or Freightliner Cascadia, automatic transmission
  • Assigned to you only, no slip seating
  • Take it home during your scheduled days off
  • 100% no-touch, dry van freight only

SCHEDULE

  • 14 days out
  • 2 full days home

GETTING STARTED

  • New CDL-A holders: guaranteed weekly pay during a 3 to 5 week mentorship program (about 200 to 250 hours hands-on)
  • $300 orientation pay, plus transportation to orientation covered
  • Experienced drivers move straight into solo operations if requirements are met

PAY ONCE SOLO

  • $1,400 to $1,600 average weekly gross
  • Top 25% of drivers average up to $1,800 per week gross
  • Pay scales with CPM, miles driven, and performance
  • Weekly direct deposit

WHO QUALIFIES

  • 21 years or older
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Valid DOT Medical Card
  • Solid driving record and work history
  • Pass DOT drug test and background check
  • Meet all applicable DOT and company requirements

EXPERIENCE LEVEL

  • New CDL-A holders: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school, plus completion of the company training program
  • Experienced drivers: at least 6 months verifiable solo driving time; mentor/trainer time doesn't count
