CDL-A Dedicated Driver - Home Daily - Night Store Delivery Routes

Experienced drivers in the southern Central Valley: sleep in your own bed every day and run the same retail stores week after week. Once you know the stops and backhauls, the job gets easier and the paycheck stays steady.

The Route

• Home Daily: dedicated store delivery out of the Shafter distribution center
• Territory: stores in the Central Valley, the Los Angeles basin and Las Vegas
• Shift: night runs, weekends and holidays included
• Occasional: some overnight stays during peak season

Pay

• About $1,200 average weekly gross on around 2,000 miles a week
• Mileage pay by experience: $0.59 per mile at 1 year, rising every year up to $0.68
• $15 stop pay for store sweeps and backhauls
• $20 extra for loads under 100 miles

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, 21 or older
• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
• Must live within 40 miles of the Shafter distribution center
• Max 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5 years
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years
• Pass hair and urine drug testing
